This policy explains what data CaribMed Prep ("we", operated by Sherline Martin) collects and how we use it. By using the Service you agree to this policy.
What we collect
Account details: your name and email address.
Study data: your answers, progress, mastery, streaks, bookmarks, notes, quiz/mock scores, and exam date — so we can save your progress across devices.
AI chat content: the questions you send to the AI tutor.
Payment data: handled entirely by Paddle. We never see or store your full card details.
How we use it
To provide the Service, sync your progress, and personalise your study.
To operate subscriptions and confirm your plan status.
To respond to support requests and improve the app.
Who we share it with (processors)
Supabase — hosts your account and progress data (authentication and database).
Paddle.com Market Ltd — our Merchant of Record; processes payments and handles billing and tax. See Paddle's own privacy policy.
Our AI provider — receives the text of questions you send to the AI tutor to generate a response.
We do not sell your personal data.
Data retention & your choices
You can reset your study progress at any time in the app's Settings.
You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us.
We keep account and billing records for as long as needed to run the Service and meet legal/tax obligations.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these, contact us at the address below.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with our hosting provider's security controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
The Service is intended for medical professionals aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.
